Color Depth
Solution
Refers to the number of colors displayed to the monitor by the video card. The more colors used, the more realistic the display. With
photographs, changing the computer's color depth may or may not help if the picture is limited to a small amount of colors. Common color depths are 256 colors, 16-bit (65,000 colors), 24-bit, and 32-bit (millions of colors). 24-bit and 32-bit are difficult to differentiate between, but 16-bit and particularly 256 colors will show a noticeable lack of quality or realism
